I didn't know exactly where she was from until I looked her up. She's another one of my 'heard on the radio, had to find out everything' finds. I've discovered a lot of people like that. from hearing a random song on the radio or in a record store (Melissa Etheridge for one). I figured she was from somewhere in Canada because I heard her on a CBC show (Fuse, which has such a cool concept).
She sounds like the love child of Neil Gaiman and Christine Lavin. Which? Is a very good thing.
