Tecchies, I need your help!

A post over at [livejournal.com profile] thegreatwar features an embedded version of the Passchendaele trailer. I can't figure out how the poster did it.

Does anyone know how to do this? Or are there instructions somewhere on the website that I'm not seeing?

Now I'm off to move the final bit of my stuff from the old place in the reallyhotheat (which is also why I need an extension on my [livejournal.com profile] ds_northernnews story). Yay?

Well looking at the page source I think this is the relevant code bit:

[iframe src="http://lj-toys.com/?journalid=5262852&moduleid=57&preview=&auth_token=sessionless:1214852400:embedcontent:5262852%2657%26:15e9c2c508bad3762cebde4f146ea701fa65520a" width="660" height="416" allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" class="lj_embedcontent" name="embed_5262852_57">
</td></tr] I replaced the first and last < with ] as I wasn't sure that the code would do. But it seems to be some sort of lj toy feature. Does that help?

It's not working, but I might be able to figure some stuff out now that you've reminded me about looking at the page source. *crosses fingers*

When I come back, that is. *runs out*

Apparently the lj-toys thing is a site that helps with embedding? I have no idea. :/

lj toys is a site that has lots of features you can add onto your LJ. Like you can track who is reading your journal and where in the world they are.

http://ljtoys.org.uk/

http://ljtoys.org.uk/popups/whatsitdo.php

Among other things...

But this appear to be a different one:

According to their site, no, and that's what puzzled me :D To me it seems like a stats/snooping machine, where you can check who reads your journal and so on. But at least their quick guide didn't mention anything about embedding. But it clearly IS a LJ-toy thing.

Weird.

Oi! It's BLACK! :D

From the source code of that page:

<iframe src="http://lj-toys.com/?journalid=5262852&moduleid=57&preview=&auth_token=sessionless:1214852400:embedcontent:5262852%2657%26:15e9c2c508bad3762cebde4f146ea701fa65520a" width="660" height="416" allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" class="lj_embedcontent" name="embed_5262852_57"></iframe>

The url contains the clip (copy-paste it to IE and you'll have just the video clip), but, hmmm, I can't quite figure out what the LJ-toys part does there....
