Can I just mention that that man is just sooooo pretty. I have such a hard time believing that he is OLDER than me. Really.
I want to see the movie. I hope we get the chance to see it on a big screen here in the states.
I love Block Island. I was in a show that toured RI and one of our performances was at the school there. It was very cool to be there off season. Have fun, and say hi to the light house for me (if it's still there).

Yes, you may. Several times if you'd like. Because preaching to the choir is often strangely fulfilling (and yeah, he's older than me, too. I should look half that good). :)

Want to go to Ottawa? I'm going in twelve days. :D :D
Block Island is awesome. I lived there from 1978 to 1994. My mom still lives there. And both the Southeast and North lighthouses are still there (although the Southeast Light had to be moved back a ways so the sea wouldn't take it). I'll tell them you said 'hey' next time, because this was a whirlwind overnight trip and I didn't have time to sightsee, alas.
That means that you were living there when I performed there. I was touring with The Looking Glass Children's Theatre and we did a show at the school. It was one of the odder shows we did, in that we had, I think, the whole school watching us instead of only the lower grades that we usually had.
I liked the school and the people there. It was one of my favorite memories of the tour.
This would have been '85 or '86. If you were living there all year, we might have passed each other and not known it...
They weren't in school yet. marymarymaryk (that's her in my icon) was something like two and a half, and she's my oldest. *G* Time flies veryvery fast with kids. Mary's having a baby of her own now. Woah.
