You sound like my older sister! She grew up with the Beatles and absolutely adored Paul. She got to see them in Toronto when they played Maple Leaf Gardens in the mid sixties. Don't know if she heard the band over all the screaming, but at least she can say she was there. The interesting part was that the concert was the same day as our grandfather's funeral, but my Dad let my sister go to the concert anyway. My Dad was cool. God I miss him.
I was always a George fan as a kid, but Sir Paul has proved what a class act he is over the years, plus he's as talented as a Very Talented Thing. And his voice is still awesome and you can't say that about many rock stars his age. He decided to up and take care of himself early on and it worked, I guess.
I will see him in concert someday, it's on my (mental) Things to Do Before I Die list.
