Bleh. I should have known better than to try a different hostel. I've had about two hours sleep because it's so hot in the room (the rest of the pace has nice AC, but the room is claustrophobic and stifling hot), and I got locked out of my room TWICE because the keycard stopped working. On top of that, mr_t00by went home a day early because of money. I should have gone with him, even if they were planning on driving straight through and/or sleeping in the car.

I've already paid for tonight here, but I don't care. If Clarence Castle doesn't have room for me to stay the next two nights, I'm going home.

ETA: Success! I got the last bed at Clarence Castle for tonight, and made a reservation for tomorrow as well. Also, used my not-here debit card to reserve a ticket to Second City for tonight, so I don't have to spend my cash on it.

Sorry your vaca isn't working out, though I'm sure The Scottish Play made all the not-so-fun parts worth it. Speaking of which, you've yet to share your thoughts on Mackers.

Things are looking up! I managed to snag two nights at Clarence Castle AND get a refund from Global Village for tonight's stay. SRSLY, I will never stay anywhere in T.O. but CC ever again (unless I get put up in a five-star for free, or somesuch).

Am going to Second City tonight. Hopefully I'll be able to catch a nap sometime today. As for Mackers, I won't be able to give you a coherent review until after said nap. :)

Yay for CC! Clarence Castle, that is. Not Chris Carter. Chris Carter only gets my middle finger and a big, phlegmy PFFFFFFT.

I can't check in officially until 1pm, and it'll probably be as hot here as anywhere, but at least it won't be big and loud and smelling like old socks. Ensuite bathrooms ftw!
