Apparently a vent from hell has opened in southern Ontario. Current temperature: 28°C. This is the coolest it's been all effing DAY. I honestly don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight. I'm thinking I won't.

No love, Canada, no love. And don't give me that "It's just as hot in Rhode Island" crap, because SO not listening. Talk to the (sweaty) hand.

P.S. Of course I'll eventually forgive you (read: as soon as it cools off), but still. *melts, literally*

It's near midnight in Michigan, and it's 81 degrees. Literally and figuratively, this is so not cool.

It's probably ridiculously hot in Mexico, too. WTF, NORTH AMERICA?

Mid-to-high 90s today in New Mexico. In the 100s over the past holiday weekend. No sympathy for your Canadian 80s.

Any sympathy for our humidity? Because you have to chew the air to breathe it, I swear.

Yeah, I did. In the common room of the building next door (also part of the hostel). The problem is I can't GO anywhere but here, because it's way too hot. Which I guess is good, because I don't get my direct deposit until 9PM and I'm low on cash.

It was 33 in Ottawa yesterday. That's 91.4. The 28 was just the evening temp. *swelters*

I thought the hot air was being funneled up from the US, into Ontario? Though I could be wrong... But oi, my sympathies. One nice thing about Vancouver, not as hot here!

This is probably true. But it never should have made it through customs. *g* '

It's definitely hot at home, too. If I were there I would hunt up a Rhode Island Sucks song. Not that there is one. Maybe I should write one?

Yeah, it's hot in RI, too. 33 in W. Warwick, where my daughter lives. It's warmer than it is here. It was probably even hotter earlier. I CAN'T STAND IT.

Did you really get heatstroke? Oh, my.
