I have an Idea
Oct. 10th, 2003 04:07 pmIn light of recent events (gods, I feel like I'm writing the Declaration of Independence or something), I was wondering:
Would anyone be interested in a fandom political discussion community? Since I believe the key to understanding each other is respectful dialogue, I thought it would be a good idea to provide a space for such.
Flames or personal insults wouldn't be allowed in the community I have in mind, although emphatic discussion would be encouraged. It'd be a safe place for people to come and discuss what they believe, who they support, and why. All sides, parties, wings, and opinions welcome.
So, how about it? If I get even a few people interested, I'll go and start the community. Even four or five would be fine. I just don't want to be sitting there talking to myself (I'd get really bored really fast).
