Today's episode of This Morning reported that Tom Felton's growth spurt has been causing problems on the set. He's now taller than Jason Isaacs and many of the other actors. They also mentioned that Tom is now getting more fan mail than Dan, Rupert or Emma...EDIT: Lauren confirmed this, and also added that Tom Felton is 6'1....

LOL! The poor kid's been hunching over self-consciously in photos for a while now, but there's no hiding it now. He is very very very tall. He seems to be having one of those silly-putty adolescences where everything about him is growing in all directions at once. Dan Radcliffe seems to be having a much smoother transition where he looks just a little more manly in each movie.

((Gives Tom a supportive hug around his middle which is as far as I could reach now...))

Hahaha, so Tom is way too tall and Dan is still rather smallish, while OotP Harry is very tall and OotP Draco is...well...I still think of him as petite...;D

I'd say that Tom's sudden growth matches canon very well. I mean, Harry is short in canon, and both Lucius and Narcissa were described as tall. Draco has to be tall as well. And Tom's two years older than Dan and Rupert and three years older than Emma - what did they expect, exactly? Teenage boys grow when they turn 15-16.

Hmm, that's not surprising, actually - he's at that age where boys have their really big growth spurt. Girls have theirs a bit younger. And I can deal with him being 6'1, as I dated a guy who was 6"3. *g* Interesting, that. The one thing I don't understand is the fact that he's getting more fanmail than Dan! I'm sorry, but I think Dan deserves more. *snuggles him* Poor w00bie.
