I'm thinking it was Whitewash, who was so named because he was entirely white except his two-inch long tail, which was black. He looked like someone whitewashed him and ran out. We called him "Wishie" for some odd reason. He was a lovely cat.

The cat in my icon is Rhett, who is still with us, and is the Best Cat Evah.
