Something that puzzles me:

I have a question for those of you who delete your LJ because you have: A. a paper to finish, B. a house that needs cleaning, C. stuff for work that needs to be done, or D. something like that which involves willpower to do instead of doing LJ things: Why not just turn the computer off? Or disconnect your modem, if what you're doing needs to be typed? It seems to me that undeleting doesn't take much more time than rebooting or reconnecting to the internet. I think A. might be because you need the internet to research stuff, but that's about the only reason I can think of.

I'm not flaming at ALL. I'm just curious. And I'm not wondering about those of you who have to delete because of anonymity issues. That I understand (although almost everyone I know well at least is aware I have a LJ).

Booting up my computer takes time, though. I have to A. Turn the computer on, B. click on my user account ([livejournal.com profile] mr_t00by has his own, mostly because he's sick of looking at my desktop pictures. *g*), C. Wait for the computer to tell me that some adware program that no longer exists can't load (because it doesn't exist), and D. Wait for the computer to tell me that I have files to burn to a CD because Hannah loaded them and I don't know how to delete them. Then I get to open LJ and my flist or my update page. I don't use Semagic, so I can't just open the client.
