The old Pope was in favour of the Harry Potter books.


The new Pope says that Harry is undermining the soul of Christianity,.

Now, tell me this: If the Pope is God's Representative On Earth, shouldn't one Pope agree with another? Or does God change His Holy Mind depending on a whim of opinion? Just who's in charge here? Or maybe since Ratzinger said it before he moved up to Popedom, maybe it doesn't count? Um?

Actually, it wasn't meant to be an anonymous post. I'm just a flake who can't correctly fill out internet forms (apparently I can do it wrong twice!). And, I'm a she; my name is Persian and means precious jewel. *grins*

I'm so GLAD I can support you and your son, especially since I'll be missing the Boston Aids Walk on June 5th. While you're walking, send a special thought out to my best friend John who is HIV positive.

I'm similarly confused by the conflicting views of the Popes. But, I'm often confused by the Pope so that's nothing new.
