I'm cleaning (and I'll keep doing that because I have to).
But. The Sox game is on. So is this.
*toggles back and forth*
And my gods but the Vietnam protests look a lot like today's Iraq war protests. Which? Is a very, very, VERY good thing. Because um, those protests helped end the war.
Geh. Now I remember why I was so obsessed with Dylan's music when I was a teenager. Jesus. If we could all feel with the fervor we had when we were young. I think I need to remember that.

Date: 2005-10-04 11:21 pm (UTC)Second - the documentary: for the press conference scenes, Scorsese must've had a good time choosing the interview questions. Dylan's answers were pretty funny too. He was asked about Hard Rain and whether it was about nuclear winter, he was all “nah, it’s just about rain. Y’know, just rain” (I paraphrase). Then there was the number of questions about “how do you see yourself and how you’ve changed modern music”. How could anybody possibly answer those types of questions? “Like, y'know, I’m 22 years old and I think I’m the catalyst for massive societal change, man?”
He was so disingenuous about his music, and his role, and he looked like he was laughing at everybody most of the time. Stoned, too. I loved it.
