Is it odd that I have never heard of Arrested or Kitchen Confidential, both of which are being cancelled, and which many of my flist is very upset about? Probably not so odd seeing that I haven't plugged in my telly since sometime in the summer. And THAT was for baseball.


I guess the one good thing about being (practically) TV-free is that it reduces the angst factor. I remember when Babylon 5 was always one season away from cancellation. Oh, the sheer angst I suffered. It was worse than the angst the story was giving me.


In other news, I have lost 5.6 lbs, according to my nutritionist. And today I met with the personal trainer guy (yes, this is all free through work) and learned how to use the Nautilus machines. AND I did twenty-five minutes on the treadmill, including cooldown.


Lastly, but definitely not least(ly), happy Veterans/Armistice/Rememberance day, especially to Micah and Bethany and mijan and garlicfiend and peacey's Jim, and millions of others.

All tolled, I get about thirteen weeks free. Then, of course, I'll have to pay for it, but eh. By then I'll want to. The gym can be v. addictive.
