Okay, so last night while I was out I heard over a Muzak-esque loudspeaker --get this-- an instrumental violin version of Julie Rogers' The Wedding. And the weirdest thing? It was at an Asian restaurant.

Now. I have always thought, give or take one or two music obsessives living somewhere on the fringes of society (I can see them now, eating roadkill and drinking from the gutters of wealthy suburbanites, all the while wearing out their original vinyl recording of Elton John's Empty Sky), that there are only three people now living who actually even know this song--myself, songdog, and Our Mum.

Needless to say, this was my surprise and amusement for the week.
