I love those letters, especially the one to Paul. No man should be that pretty. That doesn't change my total whole-hearted allegiance to Callum though. *g*

You need it to ease the ache of not making the playoffs. Gosh it'll be weird with no Red Sox/Yankee playoff war this year. Then again, I'll be paying much more attention to the NL playoffs than I have in years .

Paul's prettiness doesn't take away from Callum in the least. *g* But seriously, how old is he here, thirteen, fourteen if he's a day? Teenaged boys are supposed to be spotty and awkward (...aaaand another law of nature is trod into the ground, yessirree).

I'd say I'm hoping for a subway series, but that would mean that I'd have to cheer on the Yankees in the playoffs. Which is against the law. So suffice it to say that if the Yankees do manage to make it to the series (which I'm decidedly NOT hoping, y'hear?), I'll enjoy seeing them get their arses kicked by the cooler NY team. *cheers*

Going back to bed, now. I had an hour and change sleep, need more. I have to leave for work at twoish. :/

Oh, no, no.. you can't root for the NYY, You'll have to turn in your Red Sox Nation card and that is a verrry bad thing. Frankly, I hope they lose in the AL playoffs, cause while I'd loved a Subway Series(again)- the Yankees are the one AL team that really scares me.

And if you want Yankeee bashing, grab the latest SI. The article on A-Rod is fascinating and makes me hate him even more.

I'll have to look at SI (which I did a double take about, since in my line of work SI means "suicidal ideation" *g*). I swear, I'd dislike A-Rod if he wore a Red Sox uniform. My can't-standing of him is beyond baseball (just like my t00by love for Manny Ramirez, who doesn't deserve but I don't care, and David Ortiz, whose w00bieness goes so far beyond the game. I heart him so). A-Rod is a class-A jerk, and, that's all he is. Being a Yankee just adds fuel to the fire, so it does. :/

I'm convinced A-Rod may be such an arse because he lacks oxygen to the brain. He has blue lips! People with blue lips are cyanotic and should have their O₂ sats done

Oh, I adore Papi. He's a fab, clutch player and seems to be such a sweetie. He is the polar oppsite of A--Rod- who has been dubbed both A-Fraud and Mrs Rodriguez by one of my co-hosts( I host a sports call-in show at the radio station I work at). Ironicially, the other co-host( there are 3 of us) is a Yankee fan and doesn't like A-Rod all that much anyway.

He has blue lips?? *ponders* Weird....

I love Jeter, too. Such a class act, as is Posada and Bernie.

You've not spent time in the Harry Potter fandom. They use Ickle!(insert name here) all the time. :) Also wee. So my icon is Paul when he was ickle and wee. Er. My other icon. This one is Chris Cutter wearing black and being pretty despite the fact that he is covering his mouth, which I'm sure is a misdemeanor in parts of Canada.

I avoid anything and everything to do with Harry Potter like it's the plague. For some reason, I just don't like it, though I suspect it has something to do with the fact that when it first came out, it was all anyone on campus talked about. I rebelled apparently. *G*
