Ah, yes, another night shift.



1. Describe your idea of a perfect day. It could be a memory, or a wish or a dream. Feel free to include magic or time travel or whatever you want. It's your day, after all.

2. Hottest. Pic. Ever. I stole this idea from someone, but y'know.

3. Pimp me a place to travel to, and tell me why my life will be so much bleaker if I don't go there.

4. Write something. Anything, really.

5. Send me a songfile. I can't download it at work, but I will when I get home.

6. Two words: Fic Rec. Most of you know my fandoms. :)

7. Write something (drabble, ficlet, heck, write a novel!) containing one or more of the following sentences:

I was gonna come up with ten ideas, but I could only think of eight, because I'm sleepy.

Holiday pimp: Go to Vienna. Now! It's beautiful! Visit the Hofburg at night, when it's all illuminated, spend an afternoon in the Museum of Art History (the building alone, withouth the art, is worth a vacation), have a coffee in one of those lovely, expensive coffee houses, go see a play in the Burgtheater, enjoy the night life... It's really one of the finest cities in the world! And because you don't speak German, you won't even suffer from that awful Vienna dialect!

I'm not sure about that perfect day... I could describe a good one, but the perfect day... that's really difficult. But I can tell you what it would include: An evening with my friends, drinking and dancing. And then, late at night some of us would get out into town. There's not much going on, so we'd just wander around until we'd find an empty space. And there we'd start acting. Just goofing around with sketches and lines of plays we can dig up from classes and books we've read, mixing them up and creating something new and bizarre, but absolutely beautiful.
I did that once, on my last class trip to Barcelona, and it was the best night of my life. I'd really like to repeat it, but you can't plan something like that. It just had to happen. Which it would on my perfect day.

I'd love to go to Vienna! My grandmother's family is from Austria, actually. I have no idea where. And I'm planning on learning German ASAP (along with French. At the same time, because learning French gets me more points on the skilled worker assessment) I'm a masochist.

Hey, I just took the test and qualify! Whitehorse/Nova Scotia here I come!

I'm now tempted to just put in an application and see what happens, for fun. There can't be too many people willing to go to places with -60c temperatures and no employment (respectively), can there?
