I know I've missed a lot of posts this week. RL has been pretty busy, and on top of that, I'm not getting my message notifications. I'm not sure what's wrong. When I click the little thumbtack it takes me to the right page, but when I try to save so that I'll be notified, the page never loads. I've reported it to LJ, but they don't seem to have a clue. If anyone else has this problem or knows how to fix it, I'd love to hear about it.

Also, I'm working the night shift. Entertain me? 'Cause after I get all the paperwork done, it gets mighty boring. I won't prompt or suggest. I'll take whatever anyone wants to throw my way.

ETA: Unfortunately, I can't watch youTube at work, so all youTube stuff will be saved for when I get home. I can't watch any vids, really, because I don't have speakers. My home unit has them, but not this one. *sigh*

Am home now. Send all the YouTube your little hearts desire. *goes off to Watch Things and then go to bed*

It is bizarre the amount of affection I feel for this guy. When he was injured I was shocked and I wrote him a letter telling him it was important for him to write more books because there are people out there who don't read anything but King and what would they do if he quit?

SK engenders affection like that, and now that I've had the opportunity to actually see him in person, I can see why. For a guy who has the adulation of the world, he's still completely real. And a giant dork, so I sort of identify with him. For the dork factor, not the adulation. I wouldn't want that kind of fame for anything.
