Help us save this thread! It used to be a place where intelligent H/D slashfolk could go to discuss H/D. It's turned into a silly, raunchy place for gutter-minded plebes, and has even been shut down briefly because of it.

A few of us have begun posting responses which are pretty darn close to intelligent. If you'd like to save this thread, come on and join us. G&H used to be a solace for H/D'ers who wanted postitive, thoughtful discussion. Let's chase the plebes out and make it a place of pride once more!!!

It's a pretty frightening place, considering we were told to stop being intelligent so they could 'drag the topic back in the gutter where it belongs.' Personally, I think that's rather crude and rude so there's a big post coming from me... but the more the merrier.

But the problem isn't jut sthat they are plebes. They are posting in the wrong thread. Their "game" belongs ta Scribbles from History of Magic. They've basically started a H/D RQ thread. Which is fine - but it needs to be in the appropriate forum.

it is horrible. i can barely stand to go in there anymore because i remember how it was back in the days of verdant, black dog, fran, jen, nancy, myself, alex, marysia, tine, ina, slightlights, joy, kash, and erica, to name just a handful of the brilliant posters there. god, we had some amazing debates.

Sigh. I never registered with G&H *offers up neck to the blade of betrayed H/Ders* despite being something of a fan of the pairing (who''d guess?). Nor have I been around FAP for a long time now.

Still, I do find this rather sad, especially with some of the quotations that have been coming from the thread.

Sigh, if the drive is still going when I get back to Phuket (and thus a dedicated computer) I shall probably see if I can work out what I'd need to do to sign-up/sign-on/enlist/jump-aboard/get-on-the-friggin-ship-without-sinking-the-bugger. Not sure whether my being there would actually further your cause or finish it off, but that's what you get if you do public LJ shoutouts!
