P.S. You might be able to redeem yourself here by passing a similar resolution for every other faith in the world, and their holy days, and also for atheists.

My representative didn't vote, but I'm distressed that another district representative - who I'm supporting in his run for Senate next election - voted aye. Grr.

Mine did, and I'm surprised at him (Patrick Kennedy, wtf?). And it looks like the rep from where I'm moving did, too. Amd even if they hadn't voted, or voted no, the government, which means the country, passed the resolution. By extension, so did I, on the basis of my citizenship.
