I'll notice. And I don't know if I like the idea that all these bills and resolutions pass and nobody knows about it but politicians. What if they pass one that's even worse and we're sitting around knitting?

Well, I suppose the best you can hope is that it gets buried and forgotten amongst stuff that isn't quite as stupid. Unlikely, and sad that that's the best but . . . D: Mostly I just meant that it's just another addition to the noise of government. Piles and piles of stupid paper that sits and does nothing.

Canada (well, some of Canada) wants Muslim women who wear veils to remove them when they vote because they say not seeing their face is conducive to voter fraud or something when hello, absentee voters cast their votes without anyone seeing their faces. So yeah, Canada's not exempt.
