Would you believe the whole Susan Boyle thing was flying completely under my radar before you mentioned it in your journal? Man, Prim, I am out of touch.

Anyway, my inherent lameness aside, her story is really fascinating, both on a narrative level, and from a sociological perspective. Such an interesting case study. Thanks for posting the link to the discussion!

I didn't hear/read about her on LJ, believe it or not. It was my mother who sent me a link. And case studies and sociology aside, I'd definitely buy her CD. :)
