I've always liked Barbara Bush, but this is a really callous thing to say, dontcha think?

I can understand the sentiment, maybe, about not wanting to have to worry about it because it's hard to think about and worrying doesn't help anything, but yeah, the way she put it it pretty callous. I mean, "why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?" Did she really have to phrase it that way?
