I'm posting this because I agree with George Santayana: 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it'.



Forty years later I wonder if we're really any safer. As tragic as they are, scenes like this should never, ever be gone from our memory.

Interesting to note that in Ohio the massacre is known simply as 'May 4th'.

Interesting (and embarrassing and sad) list:

A common argument is that they were a "product of their times". Bad argument, because this guy, and people like him, were a product of their times, too.
