He's unnaturally pretty a soldier with the Canadian Corps:

This is Sarah. She's a nurse:

Eventually they fall in love:

Sometimes they just sit together and watch Alberta be pretty:




But all is not bliss, because there's this war going on:




Canada is fighting in the war:




...and Michael is a loyal Canadian soldier:




Even so, Michael doesn't want to leave:

She doesn't want him to leave, either:




Inevitably, Michael goes off to Belgium to fight with the Canadians:












...at Passchendaele, where there are cannons, and it rains and rains and rains and rains, and there is mud:









Michael gets quite muddy:










...not to mention drenched:










For reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, Sarah visits Michael at the front lines:








He's plenty glad to see her:




...and she seems to stay for a while:





...but alas, we won't know if their love will triumph until the fall.

The trailer looks awesome. And I am ALWAYS that person in the cinema who watches trailers and then says loudly "well that looked like shit! I'm not going to see that!".

Of course we can - my only problem is that I never know when this computer will work and when it won't. It hasn't worked since Wednesday and then suddenly came on tonight. If we reschedule, then I can't guarantee being there :(

I have to work tonight (yay, new regular night position!) and tomorrow night, and then I'm off until Tuesday night, and then I'm good until Friday. I have stuff to do in between, but I'm too groggy to know what right now. I'll just keep YM on a lot and ping you if you're around, and then we can yak about the whens.

yay for your new regular night position! I remember when I did nights - I always found the hardest part was switching around between days and nights in the same week. It's like jet-lag.

Not sure of my schedule yet, but fingers crossed that this piece of electronic crap will hold out a while longer. I can't afford a new computer for quite a few weeks, so I could be cut-off for a long time. I have little doubt that when this happens, Paul will suddenly decide to do a nude calendar or something, such is my luck.

I think we can be reasonably sure this will not happen. Thankfully, because although it's a good idea in theory, it would break my entire perception of Paul into tiny broken pieces. Except if it were done to support starving Canadian actors or something.

On a completely different note - can you make animated gif images? I wanted to do a new banner for passchen_daele, and I have 5 stills from the utterly brilliant photo gallery on the main site - I wanted to rotate the images around in a banner for the LJ. Any ideas?
